What is trail running?

Trail running is very much like therapy, but it’s extraordinary since your therapist is the nature.

Trail running, or trailruning is essentially defined as going for a run in the nature. Or at least running of major paths or roads made of asphalt. Trail running is running away from the roads, out on the trails. When trail running, you work a lot more with the whole body compared to monotone road running. When out in the nature, and embracing the varied terrain that the nature provide, you have to be agile in your movement and adapt your stride, length of steps and speed. All of this give you more all-round running that make you naturally workout a bigger part of your body. Many friends that has started trail running quickly discover how much tougher trail running is compared to road running. For sure, it will most likely go slower for many of you when you start trail running, but you will feel it more after. Specifically in sore legs that perhaps had to struggle lots more in the hills or the ankles that will have to fight for balance a lot more compared to when running on the road.

Trail running happens on various sorts of natural off-road territory (sand, country roads, forestry ways, single track pathways, snow trails and so forth), and in different sorts of climate (mountains, timber lands, fields, deserts, and so on) Trail running races don’t have limits on the distance or height/elevation gain . Some trail running races don’t need the utilization of explicit gear to finish the course, for example, rock climbing or mountaineering hardware but many trail races have a mandatory list of equipment that is needed to participate. My Best buy when I started trail running is my running poles and trail running vest.

How does trail running differ from other kinds of running? The obstacles that come with it make trail running is so special. It includes everything that is off-road, from smooth rail trails to rocky climbs.

Once you gain full control over your body and mind, you’re hooked, there is no way back! Start trail running today
