Snow running makes it magical
Trail running is fantastic. It’s so great just to be able to be out on the trails for hours. Disconnecting from the normally busy days and to recharge the mental batteries while letting the body get exhausted. This week though… with lot’s of snow finally coming to Stockholm, the snow made trail running magical.
I’ve had good week running wise, with running actually every day. I’ve reached my running goal for the week. Regardless the miles I’ve got in, and regardless the vertical gains I’ve managed to pull through, its the magical snow running with friends that has made this a fantastic week. To top it off, Altra announce that they’ve accepted me as a member of Altra Red Team.
As normal the Tuesday morning was spent with like minded trail nerds in Väsjöbacken. This week is was better than normal thanks to the snow running.
As Team Nordic Trail sessions are finally up and running again it was amazing to be able to get another long interval session in this week.
Fredrik had invited me to another morning session. So with the bonus run for the week, Friday morning became the third 6am run for the week. It’s important to make time for running. It makes me feel so much better.
Ängsö, a small island outside of Västerås is a really nice little island that host a trail race every autumn. Me and Helena tested the loop in the snow and we had a great time together. Ängsö Trail run
During Sunday, me and Helena took a small road trip to Uppsala to join Berzani and Happy Run for a long run. It was great to see Berzani again and we had a couple of good running hours together and celebrated with a coffee and soup at the local cafe.
